CaringCrowd knows that progress takes generosity, collaboration, and commitment. That's why Johnson & Johnson is matching donations - up to $250 per person, per project, up to the funding goal and until we reach the $820,000 cap! All active projects are eligible for matched donations, so the benefits can be widespread.
I am a registered nurse who has been involved with medical missions to Kenya since 2000. Joshua Village Clinic was founded in 2008. The clinic was originally built with only 2 large rooms, in order to meet the needs of orphans living in Joshua Village. After 2 years, the doors to the clinic was opened to the surrounding community. To meet the needs of our patients, one of the rooms was divided into a smaller one to serves as a pharmacy and the other room as the exam room for all patients. Patients who need to be observed for an extended period of time is placed in the undivided room until Intravenous fluid is completed. Since 2017, the patient load had grown so much that additional rooms are needed to keep up with the demand. That's why we need your help.
