The villagers lack proper health and hygiene awareness.
There are 850 families living in Vaitheeswaran Koil. Because none of these families know much about proper hygiene, the people suffer from several seasonal infectious diseases, such as viral fever, dengue fever, malaria, chickungunya, typhoid, jaundice, diarrhea, and cold and flu. In addition, the restroom in the library is not functional, so people in village defecate in the open.
Teaching the villagers about health and hygiene can improve the village's quality of life.
Through healthy campaigns in the village library, people of all ages can be taught proper hygiene, which will reduce the risk of seasonal diseases. In addition, investing in the village's library's infrastructure, such as a water tank and improved restroom, can help to reduce the amount of open defecation. Donating health-related books will also improve the villagers' awareness. Conducting campaigns in the library will also help the villages surrounding Vaitheeswaran Koil.
By donating, you can improve health awareness in the village.
Your donation will help to fund the medical campaigns that will be conducted in the library. Your donation will also help to improve the infrastructure of the library.
