Covid-19 lock down in India is starving daily wage earners and farmers
The country-wide lock down has forced people out of jobs. Without any significant savings, the poorest people are the hardest hit. They are not even able to afford basic food needs. At the same time, the farmers and dairy farmers are unable to sell their produce, having to waste the food and losing money. The youth are out of school and do not have activities to occupy them.
