Change the way we talk about mental health
Mental illness can create fear and misunderstanding, which leads to prejudice and discrimination. Far too many people experiencing mental health challenges do not receive the care and support they need to thrive, largely due to external barriers such as stigma or a lack of role models living and working with mental health conditions.
Training advocates to encourage people experiencing mental health challenges to get care and support
Our approach is designed to reduce the stigma that prevents people living with mental health challenges from getting the treatment and support they need to live well. Our trained advocates share their stories in a way that inspires and encourages those experiencing mental health challenges, as well as their loved ones and employers. When someone who is struggling sees positive examples of people thriving with challenges similar to their own, they are more likely to seek the care they need.

By donating, you can provide hope for the millions who are struggling with mental health challenges
By donating, you are providing the opportunity for The Stability Network to train its advocates to use their stories to provide hope for the millions who are struggling with mental health challenges. We have a proven method for training effective advocates and now need support to roll out the program on a larger scale. Your support will enable us to broaden and deepen our reach and impact so that more people will see that it is possible to recover and live well with a mental health condition.
20%-Deploying Advocates to Speak
This displays the maximum incremental additional funding the campaign could receive (Maximum Funding Amount (MFA) less Minimum Funding Goal)). For example, if the MFA is $100,000 and the MFG $10,000, it would show the difference of $90,000 here.
