Help Babies in Haiti Survive and Thrive

Our goal
We want to create a future in which all babies are clean, dry and healthy.
The Challenge

Children recovering from extreme malnutrition lack basic needs

The Rescue Center at Real Hope for Haiti houses up to 50 babies of diapering age in inpatient care. These children are recovering from extreme malnutrition and other medical challenges. This project can provide cloth diapers for use at the Rescue Center, as well as cloth diaper kits to go home with children when they are healthy and graduate out of the Rescue Center.

Our Solution

Cloth diapers will improve quality of life for child and caregiver

Just 12 cloth diapers can diaper a baby from infancy through potty-training, meaning these babies can finally have diapers, instead of going without or having makeshift diapers. Your support is helping struggling families leverage their limited resources to better care for their babies in other ways. In many places, organizations see decreased infant mortality rates and increased quality of life through cleaner environments and more availability of basic living needs.

Your Impact

By donating as little as $10, you will help children survive and thrive.

As families have their diaper needs solved, they are able to save funds and plan for future improvements in their care. This can mean affording schooling, offering better healthcare, improved quality of food (more protein!) - all steps that set these babies up for long term survival and productive members of society.

$4,000 Minimum Funding Goal
  • 97%-Cloth diapers

  • 3%-Stripe fees

$36,000 Campaign Booster Funding

This displays the maximum incremental additional funding the campaign could receive (Maximum Funding Amount (MFA) less Minimum Funding Goal)). For example, if the MFA is $100,000 and the MFG $10,000, it would show the difference of $90,000 here.

  • 97%-Cloth diaper provision

  • 3%-Required TBD % for stripe fees
