Our goal
Build a brand new school in Misiones, Argentina replacing an old, rotten and unhealthy structure.
The Challenge

Improve health and safety for 40 children in rural Argentina

The 40 children attending the Guillermo Julian Donaire School in El Soberbio, Misiones, Argentina have to attend school in a small and rotten wooden structure. 100 degrees in Summer and 30 degrees in winter are unbearable conditions for the children to attend school. Adding insult to injury, the structure has accumulated mold and holes where insects seep in, making the environment that much more unhealthier.

Additional benefit over the very long term is that the children will be better able to focus on their studies, improving the chances that they can escape poverty, which is a known factor in health outcomes.

Our Solution

Building a brand new Guillermo Julian Donaire school.

We plan to tear the old structure down and build from scratch this brand new structure so these 40 students can attend school in a dignified environment.

Your Impact

Improve health and safety for 40 children in rural Argentina

By building this brand new school, during the Argentinean summer recess, we can allow the children to receive dignified education and protect them from potential illnesses. As you can see in the attached picture, dangerous mold and holes are a constant in the existing building, creating daily threats for the children.
