Emergency unit in Cheluvamba Hospital in Mysur, India does not have enough beds
In India, 1 in 1000 patients gets a bed when they arrive in the emergency department. Those with potentially life-threatening conditions – such as heart attacks and strokes – are normally treated right away. But once the decision is made that a patient requires further care in the hospital – to be admitted – this individual may have to wait on a stretcher in the emergency department until a bed becomes available in one of the hospital wards.
Cheluvamba Hospital Staff
Providing beds can expedite patient care and increase hospital efficiency.
Hospital beds are specially designed for hospitalized patients or others in need of some form of health care. These beds have special features both for the comfort and well-being of the patient and for the convenience of health care workers.
By donating to our cause, patients in need will be able to receive the care they desperately need.
Your donation will help to provide 2 specialized hospital cots, which are used to treat patients more efficiently with more patient comfort.
