Preventing the transmission of COVID-19 between patients and staff
The COVID-19 pandemic in India is rapidly growing with our target, Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad, alone admitting 10,128 COVID-19 patients. By learning the lessons from other affected countries, we can ease the burden on the Indian healthcare system. One of these lessons is the significance of a healthy healthcare force that can efficiently and effectively combat the virus on the front lines. To achieve this goal we must protect healthcare workers from the greatest risk - infected patients.
Provide low-cost sanitation to at-risk staff for protection and prevention
By providing low-cost sanitation to staff that is directly interacting with patients, we can create a barrier between patients and doctors. This sanitation directly protects and gives psychological confidence to doctors that they are protected. According to the FDA, hand sanitation effectively combats COVID-19, and with your donation, you can directly impact those on the front lines. We recently installed 50 mist auto-dispensers in this hospital and our next step is providing the sanitizers.
By donating $5 you can provide 100 front line workers with protection and confidence
Relative to other countries, India is in the beginning stages of a COVID-19 outbreak. Therefore, a small donation of yours that sanitizes a doctor could save hundreds or thousands of people. As in any pandemic, the ensuing months will be uncertain, but what is certain is that your donation will directly help those in the world that need it the most.
97%-Purchase hand sanitizers fluid
3%-Stripe account charges
This displays the maximum incremental additional funding the campaign could receive (Maximum Funding Amount (MFA) less Minimum Funding Goal)). For example, if the MFA is $100,000 and the MFG $10,000, it would show the difference of $90,000 here.
