The negative lockdown impact of mental health on children and adolescents.
COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown have brought about a sense of fear and anxiety for not only adults but also for millions of vulnerable children and adolescents living in rural Haiti. This COVID-19 crisis could lead to short-term as well as long-term psychosocial and mental health implications for distressed children and adolescents.
One-on-one & group level intervention to help alleviate anxiety for children and adolescents.
capracare will aim to increase children's and adolescents' awareness about COVID 19, and teach parents how to communicate with young children and adolescents in an age appropriate manner by using simple terminologies about COVID-19. The information will be fact-based with the help of presentations and video material provided by authorized international organizations like WHO and UNICEF or government resources which have been tailor-made especially for children and adolescents.
Efforts will be made so that a consistent routine is followed by the children and adolescents, with enough opportunities to play, read, rest and engage in physical activity.
There is a need for tele mental health compatibility; and coordinated and innovative mental health.
capracare will work towards the production and dissemination of audio-video material related to healthy parenting, mental health awareness, reduction of stigma, and practice mental health hygiene. There will be coordination with people who are playing a key role in the mental health care of children and adolescents e.g. parents, pediatricians, teachers, and community health workers, will be involved and oriented about ways to provide proper mental health support for children and adolescents.

This displays the maximum incremental additional funding the campaign could receive (Maximum Funding Amount (MFA) less Minimum Funding Goal)). For example, if the MFA is $100,000 and the MFG $10,000, it would show the difference of $90,000 here.
