As Mumbai, India becomes an epicenter for Coronavirus cases, many hospitals lack PPE.
In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, a lack of sufficient protective gear available to Mumbai Hospitals has spurred a growing trend of hospital and clinic closings throughout Bombay, the epicenter of COVID-19 havoc, against numerous government and state ordinances demanding widespread reopening.
Mumbai’s metropolis, consisting of over 25,000 medical professionals, 30% of which are at risk for the virus or over 60 years of age, lie vulnerable as proper PPE equipment remains undelivered. In fact, Mumbai’s demonstrated influx in medical equipment demands is only expected to rise as turbulent times call for brisk action and this global pandemic ensues. Therefore, Ekam Arkansas is seeking to address Mumbai hospitals’ dire need for medical equipment with expeditious intervention.
