let's work together to

Provide preventive health campaigns to needy Peruvians.

Our goal
We want to create a model to provide holistic and preventive healthcare for Peruvians.
The Challenge

Many individuals in Peru suffer from Rheumatic disease.

Many Peruvians suffer from preventable Rheumatic disease -- a large portion of these cases are undocumented. This can lead to many social consequences that affect family and personal life, leading to disability and lowered quality of life. Additionally, most times the working class (the breadwinners), are the ones who suffer more acutely from rheumatic diseases. Poverty and lack of adequate health care compound these negative effects. (Klak - NCBI).

Our Solution

Community level public health and physical therapy campaigns and education

To promote health & wellbeing and to prevent rheumatic disease (including musculoskeletal disease), CESAPU (Center for Public Health) located in Huanchaco, Peru, will host specialized physical therapy and chiropractic campaigns. These campaigns will include care by physical therapists and chiropractors, and include educational portions, coupled with investigation. A community level intervention to provide care and education to those in need.

Your Impact

Donate to help eliminate barriers to care for rheumatic disorders.

Your donation will allow these campaigns to function brighter, to bring care to a population who currently has no other solution to their musculoskeletal injuries. Many workers lose productive working hours due to injuries, and their families (mainly women & children) suffer as a result. These campaigns will not only be oriented to provide care for people suffering physical ailments, it will also work to educate men & women on prevention and connect them to long term care.
