Our goal
We aim to ensure that every preemie born in Sohon Benin to poor parents receive the best in care
The Challenge

Preterm babies born in Sohon Niger are dying due the lack of fund to access basic healthcare

Global deaths of newborn babies remain alarmingly high, particularly among the world’s poorest countries, according to a new report published by Unicef. More preemies are dying each year in Sub-Sahara Africa even as child health improves overall. In general, preemies born in richer countries fare far better, but there are differences within countries. Babies born to rich families have a higher chance at survival the those born to poor or rural families

Our Solution

Increase Preterm baby survival rate by ensuring access to best healthcare, equipment and personel

Preterm babies born to families who can’t afford healthcare and can not bear the extra cost of transportation the main hospital will be taken care of. Mothers and their new born will have access to trained nurses, free physician services, subsidized hospitalization cost. In the case the rural hospital would be unable to care for the newborn, fund would be made available for transportation to the nearest zone hospital.
