Hopital de Zone of Come experiences frequent power outages, causing interruptions in medical care.
Hopital de Zone of Come Benin is facing the challenge of an aging electrical infrastructure in need of frequent repair coupled with interrupted power supply. This results in power outages greater than 50% of the time. Critical power takes on extra meaning for hospitals. An interruption or loss of electric power can result in a tragic event. For a hospital to run optimally, reliable power is an absolute necessity.
A solar power energy system will ensure a continuous supply of power.
With tightening budgets, increasing financial pressure and a growing lack of space, the hospital needs backup equipment for power supply that is safe, small in footprint, low in cost and easy to maintain. The installation of a solar power energy system will provide a sustainable energy system for the hospital. The equipment will be able to be switched on as soon as there is a loss of electrical power. A continuous supply of power will reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.
By donating to our cause, you can help provide access to healthcare to communities in Come, Benin.
Your donation will enable healthcare workers to perform their roles effectively. Patients of Hopital de Zone Come will have continuous access to healthcare. Parents can feel secure knowing there is no risk of their children being rushed 3 hours to the next nearest hospital. Providing an adequate power system to the hospital will make the lives of those at the front of health care (nurses, doctors, midwives) easier. Healthcare workers will be able to mitigate the risk of infant mortality.
