We have the water filters; but the pipes are still delivering dirty water due to deposits.
We have the water pumps and filters installed at Igusi, but we still have some steps to take to ensure that the people at Igusi Clinic have clean water. The pipes are delivering water with pipe deposits and rust; water comes out unclean.
The beautiful water system we were able to build because of donors like you.
If we do not fix the pipes, we are not using the water system to the fullest potential.
Pipe deposits or unsafe particles can be seen in this water collected from the major pipe connected to new filtration system.
Water pipes are old, rusted and leak causing waste and leading to poor sanitation.
We must fix and replace old pipes with new
It's vital that we replace the water pipes as soon as possible so that we can maximize the potential from our new filtration system. Through getting new pipes in place, we are taking important steps that allow us to get clean water in the clinic. Also, this effort prepares us for the future work on the kitchen and dilapidated bathrooms.
By donating $10 to our cause, you can save a child and a mother’s life
One of the vital services the clinic at Igusi provides is maternity services. Clean water is vital to the flourishing of maternal and infant life. By ensuring we have safe pipes that deliver water free from lead, dirt, and other impurities currently coming from pipes, we are helping to ensure long-term health in the region.
75%-Purchasing water pipes
25%-Purchasing tools and supplies
This displays the maximum incremental additional funding the campaign could receive (Maximum Funding Amount (MFA) less Minimum Funding Goal)). For example, if the MFA is $100,000 and the MFG $10,000, it would show the difference of $90,000 here.
