Thousands of artists are unable to make a living in the lockdown
Troupes of artists in India rely on traveling from town to town, state to state across the country (and a fortunate few, internationally) to make a living while sustaining their art and passing it on to the next generation.
Most of these artists have no savings to tide them over. With the lockdown, these artists are stuck at home uncertain how to put the next meal on the table for their families and themselves. Many will leave their art to find low skill low wage jobs and fall down the poverty spiral never to recover and resume their performing career. And an art will quite possibly die.
Providing sustenance to these artists will tide the artists through the lock-down
Providing food supplies to artists in need will allow them to get through the lockdown. It will let them see the light at the end of the tunnel to more hopeful times when they can resume practicing their art and performing for undiscovered audiences. This will provide sustenance not just to the artists and their families but to their art.
By donating as little as $10, you will sustain two artist familes for a day
Your donation will help artists families have access to vital grocery supplies during the Covid-19 lockdown. As the lockdown has taken away their sole source of income they are living hand to mouth and many are, quite literally, starving artists and families.

This displays the maximum incremental additional funding the campaign could receive (Maximum Funding Amount (MFA) less Minimum Funding Goal)). For example, if the MFA is $100,000 and the MFG $10,000, it would show the difference of $90,000 here.
