Our goal
To provide food to people without jobs and lack of financial sources during COVID-19.
The Challenge

COVID-19 pandemic is threatening food security for the vulnerable in India.

Hundreds of migrant people have come back to their native homes looking for assistance. Bannu Arogyada Seva Society (BASS) provides relief in the state of Telangana, India. Increasing requests for food supplies have emptied food banks' existing supplies. Hundreds more are coming daily seeking food assistance, which increases day-by-day. In addition, people have lost their livelihoods, jobs, and businesses, leaving them without financial security.

Our Solution

Provide food supplies to help people to survive during COVID-19.

We want to provide basic food supplies to help people to survive during COVID-19. BASS is providing required quality food to 150 disabled children, 50 salvagers, 50 volunteers, 50 elder people, and 300 patients who come to our Bannu Hospital. We want to continue the effort in providing two meals to 600 needy people for 3 days (each day two meals) including migrant labors, elders, and patients.

90 percent of these people already have trouble finding food for their families, and COVID-19 has made this challenge even bigger. Our continued support is needed now more than ever.

Your Impact

By donating just $20, you can help feed a family in need.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused widespread public health and economic crisis. COVID-19 spreads easily and proper nutrition is critical to fighting this deadly virus. The effects adversely impact the number of people in our community experiencing food insecurities. Together we can protect our community by ensuring stress free access to food. $20 can feed an entire family for a whole month. Your donation will go directly towards feeding families in need in our working area in Telangana.
