...AIM Needs Your Help... They Need Your Help!

Mwebale! (Greetings!)

Pregnant mothers and their babies are dying or suffering - they need our help

1 out of every 5 pregnant women in Uganda is undernourished.

Babies born to mothers who received no prenatal care are 3 times more likely to be born at low birth weight - and 5 times more likely to die - than those whose mothers received prenatal care.

Many children die before they reach 5 years old.

Too little folate, not enough vitamins or trace elements and overall healthcare education to protect themselves and their unborn children.  Oftentimes certain foods are simply not available for the 9 months of pregnancy.

AIM intends to provide the resources for medical education necessary to help deal with with this major catastrophy.

We need your help!

No Other Organization of its Kind in Eastern Central Africa

Before you decide to contribute to AIM, we highly recommend you take a brief moment to view more about AIM and the individuals that have assisted us in the structure of the institution - on this website.

AIM's key advisors include the Ambassador, Health Minister, and 3rd Secretary from the United Nations from Uganda, among other pharmaceutical and medical professionals here in the United States and Uganda.

All of these individuals played a significant part in the development of The African Institute for Medical Education.  We are immensely thankful for their professional insights.
